Consensus Comparison: Avengers: Age of Ultron May 2, 2015

Since the Avengers sequel is hitting theaters this weekend, I went and rounded up the first Avengers movie. A comparison of scores can be found at the bottom of this post.

Tales of the Grim Sleeper was named a Film of the Week. It was placed on the 2015 list, then moved to 2014 where it probably belongs. It’s still being included among these new releases below because of its HBO premiere this past Monday.

Critics Round Up has been making changes to the site for the past two weeks. One glitch that’s come from these upgrades is that some still images no longer work. This is because the image’s dimensions are too small. If you see a still image at the top of the page that isn’t working, email me at

There are two more features left to introduce. One is an RSS feed that replicates what we’re doing on Twitter, in case you don’t have an account for that site or would rather get updates through RSS. The other is something I don’t want to talk about until it’s ready to go. This second feature will take more than a few hours of extra work. I’ll reveal what I have before Cannes, regardless of whether or not it’s complete.
