Consensus Comparison: Hardcore Henry, Garbage Time April 9, 2016

This week’s stats column runs much longer than usual (and has been posted much later than usual) because this is the first Consensus Comparison that features the new section Garbage Time, which catches up on the past few months of badly reviewed movies that I felt a duty to return to and cover. Future columns will probably only feature one or two movies in that section, tops.

CRU’s big deviation from Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic this week is Jerzy Skolimowski’s 11 Minutes. Reviews are much more positive here, though if you ask me, the Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic aggregates got it right.

Your Film of the Week is Gabriel Mascaro’s Neon Bull.

Garbage Time

Garbage Time is an irregular section of this stats column that looks at movies that, for multiple reasons starting with the mostly negative reviews, were deemed unsuitable for the homepage but nevertheless might still be of some interest to cinephiles.
