Consensus Comparison: A Most Violent Year, Li’l Quinquin January 3, 2015

Happy new year, everyone. This is a transition week, which features the last 2014 movie CRU is covering (A Most Violent Year) and the first two of 2015. Li’l Quinquin gets the highest score and is your Must See this week.

Regarding The Taking of Tiger Mountain, I’m pretty sure this is the first time a movie covered by CRU has failed to reach at least three reviews since I started this stats column in July. Variety’s Maggie Lee and The A.V. Club’s Ignatiy Vishnevetsky dug the movie, for what it’s worth.
