  • In spite of all my objections to Ayn Rand: A Sense of Life, I have to admit that I found it compulsively watchable--partly because Paxton is so adept at lacing Rand's arguments with their fantasy inspirations (which in the documentary range from vintage film clips to original animation interludes, with lots of Hollywood gossip in between) and partly because Rand is still a deeply affecting figure.
