Spring Screen 2 articles

Spring Poster
  • Spring... is easily one of the most kinetic films Dorsky has produced, a strange amalgam of stolen moments of beauty from the human world (city scenes, fragments of portraiture) and a nature study whose visual assertiveness occasionally seems to stop just this side of Rose Lowder.

  • A number of shots in Spring find the director slowly adjusting his camera’s aperture, leading shrouded, shadowy images toward stark luminescence, revealing rich, scenic dioramas in the process.
