The Long Week Closes: Now Less Than Ever May 27, 2017

In a year when the Cannes competition has been this badly received, it’s hard to care about whether or not the jury gets it “right” this year because there appear to be so few worthy choices. It was a deflating year to read Cannes dispatches. Let’s hope a lot of these movies are better received as the year progresses.
